The MFL reminds of the time we put together a scriptural fantasy football team. Teancum at QB (javelin abilities), Kishkumen at WR/KR (so speedy was his flight that no man could overtake him), and so forth.
I agree that there are a lot of those kinds of games out there, but I am working hard to change that (if anyone's interested: www.mormongamedesign.blogspot.com), and recently my Hagoth: Builder of Ships game was released (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/42969/hagoth-builder-of-ships). Just thought I'd share.
